The innovative Ferrogard range of magnetically actuated safety switches have increased tolerance to door misalignment, in addition to the reliability of non-contact switches. This device helps to protect your personnel by cutting off power to a machine which is in motion when the safety barrier is released, thereby preventing access to a hazardous area. It is designed so that the magnetic actuator is removed from the switch when the guard door is opened, which opens the NC safety contacts.
