Mitsubishi FX3U-4AD-ADP adalah analog input special adapter untuk PLC MELSEC-F Series yang menyediakan 4 channel input analog untuk membaca sinyal tegangan maupun arus dari berbagai sensor dan perangkat instrumentasi industri. Untuk pengolahan sinyal analog, Mitsubishi FX3U-4AD-ADP menggunakan resolusi 12-bit binary untuk input tegangan dan 11-bit binary untuk input arus. Resolusinya mencapai 2,5 mV untuk rentang 0–10 V dan 10 μA untuk rentang 4–20 mA. Akurasi total berada pada ±0,5% full scale pada temperatur 25°C ±5°C dan ±1,0% full scale pada temperatur operasi 0–55°C. Waktu konversi A/D adalah 200 μs untuk FX3U/FX3UC dan 250 μs untuk FX3S/FX3G/FX3GC, dengan data diperbarui pada setiap scan PLC.

FX3U-4AD-ADP menggunakan photocoupler untuk isolasi antara bagian analog input dan PLC serta DC/DC converter untuk isolasi bagian analog input dari power supply. Modul ini menggunakan suplai internal 5 V DC 15 mA dari PLC dan suplai eksternal 24 V DC dengan konsumsi 40 mA. Produk memiliki 0 occupied I/O points, berat sekitar 0,1 kg, temperatur operasi 0–55°C, serta dapat dipasang sebagai special adapter pada sistem PLC yang kompatibel. Untuk koneksi ke FX3U, diperlukan function expansion board.
