Description
The 1794-ASB Series C adapter is an adapter with revisions (Series C/Revision C) such as updated firmware. This 1794 (Flex I/O) adapter has the capability to power the internal logic modules of a maximum of 8 I/O modules. The adapter is manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The controller of the system receives and sends the updated data to the remote I/O adapter through a flex bus scan. Furthermore, the remote I/O adapter uses the BTW/BTR instructions of the diagram program to transfer and receive the data from the analog I/O module. The 1794-ASB Series C adapter unit has components such as special indicators for diagnostics purposes, remote I/O wiring connections, address/group switch assemblies, 24 Volts DC power wiring connections, and a pushbutton for resetting the device.
