Mitsubishi FX5U-32MT/ES adalah CPU Module dari keluarga MELSEC iQ-F Series yang dirancang untuk kebutuhan otomasi industri, machine control, dan sistem PLC berkecepatan tinggi. Model ini memiliki total 32 built-in I/O points, terdiri dari 16 digital input 24 VDC sink/source dan 16 transistor sink output. FX5U-32MT/ES menggunakan catu daya 100–240 VAC dan dilengkapi terminal block yang dapat dilepas sehingga memudahkan instalasi serta maintenance pada panel kontrol.

Keunggulan utama FX5U-32MT/ES adalah kemampuan pemrosesan cepat dengan waktu eksekusi instruksi LD sekitar 34 ns. PLC ini juga menyediakan fungsi high-speed counter hingga 6 channel pada 200 kHz dan 2 channel pada 10 kHz, serta fungsi positioning hingga 4 axis pada 200 kHz menggunakan transistor output. Selain itu, CPU telah memiliki 2-channel built-in analog input dan 1-channel analog output, sehingga dapat menangani kebutuhan kontrol analog tanpa harus selalu menggunakan modul analog tambahan.

Untuk kebutuhan komunikasi dan integrasi sistem otomasi, Mitsubishi FX5U-32MT/ES dilengkapi 1 port Ethernet dan 1 port RS-485. Ethernet mendukung koneksi MELSOFT, GOT, socket communication, FTP, HTTP Web Server, SNTP dan simple CPU communication, sedangkan fungsi serial mendukung N:N network, MC protocol, inverter communication dan komunikasi non-protocol. FX5U-32MT/ES juga mendukung MODBUS RTU/TCP serta CC-Link IE Field Network Basic. Dengan kombinasi I/O digital, analog, high-speed counter, positioning dan komunikasi terintegrasi, PLC ini sesuai untuk mesin packaging, conveyor, assembly machine, material handling, machine automation dan berbagai aplikasi factory automation.
